The Academy of Lifelong Learning is organized exclusively to provide opportunities for continuing education in the Bemidji area. It is intended that Academy of Lifelong Learning programs will assist participants to improve their critical thinking skills and appreciate the diversity of human experience found in literature, history, languages, philosophy, anthropology, and the arts.
Funded through a partnership with the Minnesota Humanities Commission, The Academy of Lifelong Learning is a member of the Learning in Retirement Networks designed to promote older adult learning in the humanities. Through the humanities, LIRN members study enduring ideas, reflect on experience, analyze important issues, and contribute to the educational well-being of their communities.
For Spring and Fall Term, weekly workshops are open to the public, free of charge-addressing a variety of interesting topics of regional interest.

Client Testimonials: “We are no longer in crisis mode thanks to the efforts and professionalism of the CRI staff. Kerry Ross, our liaison, has guided our organization forward to success through her talented and intelligent handling of our grant process, speaker selection and contact and finally being a gracious host to our attendees. We have grown five fold in our attendance and that is due in no small measure to the staff at CRI.
