A: Special arrangements can be made with the instructor directly. Patty Gould-St Aubin pgs@mchsi.com
Q: Do I need to take all 3 courses in sequential order?
A: Yes
Q: How much time do I have to complete the 3 courses?
A: Participants have 1 year from the completion of Real Estate I to complete Real Estate II and III, and take the exam.
Q: Do I need to complete all 3 courses before taking the exam?
A: No, participants may take the exam once they have completed Real Estate I. In order to take the exam, participants must present the certificate of completion for Real Estate I and their driver's license. Remember, you will only have 12 months from the completion of RE I to finish the exam and RE II and RE III.
Q: How does this course compare to the courses offered through ProSource?
A: The facilitator of these courses received training from ProSource. The text is purchased from ProSource and the instructor builds on that text with materials she created that are specific to northern MN real estate sales.
Q: Can I take Real Estate II and III from Bemidji State University if I have taken Real Estate I from a different source.
A: Yes, you simply need to show record of your completion of Real Estate I to enroll in II and/or III.
Q: Can I buy the book in advance?
A: The cost of the text from ProSource is built into the cost of the course. If you chose to purchase the text in advance, you will still receive the text that you pay for in the course fee.
Q: When do I need to pay for the course?
A: Participants are invoiced once the course begins. You do not need money up front.
Q: Do we get a lunch break on the long Saturday sessions?
A: The instructor leaves that choice up to the participants in each sessions.
Q: This course is ITV. What does that mean?
A: ITV stands for Interactive Television. The instructor will be at Hibbing Community College and partner institutions, including Bemidji State University, receive the signal. Participants will see the instructor, participants at other sites and can ask questions using microphones that are at each seating in the classroom. There is no instructor on site in Bemidji.
Q: What building and room is this in on the BSU campus?
A: Decker Hall 15
Q: I was charged a non-refundable deposit in my fee for Real Estate I. How do I get that credited to Real Estate II that I registered to take at BSU?
A: The full fee for Real Estate II is $225. Participants who have signed up for both Real Estate I and II from BSU will receive an invoice for $225 with a $20 credit leaving a total amount due of $205 for Real Estate II. The fee for Real Estate III remains $225.
Q: Will BSU be running this course again?
