Public Informational Meeting: Blandin Community
Leadership Program
The Blandin Foundation is once again making
its nationally-recognized Community Leadership
Program available to Bemidji area residents.
A local steering committee is actively seeking
applicants; all those interested in helping
to shape the future of the Bemidji area are
invited to apply to be a delegate.
A public informational meeting
will be held on Tuesday, August 5 at
BSU’s
Center for Research and Innovation (3801
Bemidji
Avenue North), 5:30-6:30 pm, during which
time faculty and alumni of the program
will be available to answer questions.
Everyone
is invited to attend and learn more about
the program and the application process.
Ultimately, a team of 24 people will
be selected to attend a five-day, residential
leadership
retreat, September 22-26, 2003 at Ruttger’s
Sugar Lake Lodge in Grand Rapids, along
with a two day follow-up session in January
and
a final day session in April. The program
is underwritten by the Blandin Foundation
which will cover all costs for food,
lodging and tuition.

Bemidji residents to attend the nationally
recognized
Blandin Community Leadership Program
on September 22 – 26. This intensive
retreat will offer you opportunities
for personal growth
and leadership tools to help you and
others pursue community goals. If you
are interested
in enhancing your leadership skills to
help build a better Bemidji, applications
for
the Blandin Community Leadership Program
will be accepted until August 15, and
are available at the Chamber of Commerce
Information
Center and the OIC at 1819 Bemidji Avenue,
Suite 2.
