The
Center for Research and Innovation (CRI) is
an off campus facility operated by Bemidji State
University designed to increase university,
business, and industry collaboration. CRI was
formed to focus efforts on training, education
and entrepreneurial needs of Northwestern Minnesota
and beyond. The CRI acts as the conduit to business,
industry, non-profits, and the general public,
which require access to faculty, staff, and
students.
Located
approximately one mile from the main university
campus, the facility provides excellent accommodations
for prospective clients. The CRI has a large
parking facility and is open from 8:00 A.M.
to 4:30 P.M, Monday through Friday and is operated
in a business center. Conference rooms, a computer
lab, and office space rental are available,
along with a team of skilled staff members who
are well trained in strategic development processes.
The CRI offers non-credit classes in the areas
of computer software, technical training, human
resource management and project management.
The CRI also offers assistance in small business
management and research development. With a
trained staff and the resources at Bemidji State
University such as faculty and students, the
CRI offers an array of services.
