Training Opportunity for all Safety Officers The Center for Research and Innovation and Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Workplace Safety Consultation have teamed up to offer a training session addressing issues relating to workplace violence and effective safety committees. The training will be held 8:30am—12 noon on Thursday, August 5 at the Center for Research and Innovation. Rural Resource Roundup in Bemidji on July 22 Minnesota Rural Partners along with Bemidji State University’s Center for Research and Innovation, Northwest Technical College, Bemidji, the Northwest Minnesota Foundation and the Headwaters Regional Development Commission would like to invite you to attend a Rural Resource Roundup on Thursday, July 22 from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM at the Northwest Technical College Cafeteria in Bemidji.

Please join us, as we begin a community discussion about innovation, innovators in the community and the rural resources and programs available. Bemidji Area Natural Resources Consortium Presents Dr. Patrick Guilfoile Dr. Patrick Guilfoile, BSU Professor of Biology, will present “Lyme Disease and Tick Control” at 3pm on Monday, July 19. The presentation is part of an ongoing series that provides continuing education opportunities for professionals in the natural resources area as well as information for the general public. The event promotes an exchange of ideas, encourages open dialogue, and creates a higher awareness of professional perspectives related to natural resources issues.
