Grant
Writing Certificate Program Continues
Bemidji State University Center for Research and Innovation continues
the Grant Writing Certificate Program. The professional development
certificate program is comprised of several different classes.
Each class fits a specific need to improve grant-writing skills.
The classes, while intended to build on one another to complete
the Grant Writing Certificate, will stand alone to meet specific
needs of the participant. The
classes are scheduled to begin February 3 with 3 new classes added
to the existing program. Click
here to learn more about the upcoming course offerings.
Be
Prepared for an OSHA Inspection
Failure
to comply with OSHA regulations could result in harm to your workers,
and citations and penalties during an enforcement inspection.
These accidents also translate into higher costs for your business
including workman's compensation premium increases, injured worker
medical costs, and costs associated with training a replacement
worker. Learn how to avoid accidents and high costs associated
with them by attending a half-day workshop held at the Center
for Research and Innovation on Thursday, February 19 from 8am-12noon. The
registration fee is $59 and pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
Preparing for a MNOSHA inspection, programs required by MNOSHA
and most frequently cited MNOSHA standards are all topics that
will be addressed.
