Broaden your knowledge and skills in grant writing

Bemidji State University Center for Research and Innovation is proud to announce the first three sessions in an on-going Grant Writing Certificate Program.   The certificate program is comprised of 11 different classes.   Each class fits a specific need to improve grant-writing skills.   The classes, while intended to build on one another to complete the Grant Writing Certificate, will stand alone to meet specific needs of the participant.

Is it time for your company to explore opportunities overseas?

The Center for Research and Innovation and the NW Regional Small Business Development Center is proud to partner with the Minnesota Trade Office to provide two different informational seminars relating to expanding your business overseas.

Are you in charge of safety at your business?

The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry will provide information on Minnesota Right to Know. This program, dealing with chemical aspects of safety, requires a survey and inventory of the workplace to locate potential hazardous substances, harmful physical agents, and infectious agents. Is your business meeting OSHA standards?  Find out by attending this session.  The fee of $30 covers lunch and all participant materials.

Business Basics Class in Bemidji

Do you have a business idea but aren't sure what to do next? Attend this free 2-hour seminar to learn what you need to consider before you start a business.  Learn how to take your dream and turn it in to reality. October 14, 2pm-4pm at the Center for Research and Innovation in Bemidji.

Academy of Lifelong Learning Offers Presentation Series at the Center for Research and Innovation
Bemidji State University and the Academy of Lifelong Learning have teamed up to continue the Academy’s educational programming for retired persons in the Bemidji area.  The presentations are usually held Tuesdays at 10am at the Center for Research and Innovation.  To learn more about upcoming weekly presentations or to be added to the mailing list, click here.
